Presentation to Sailability Manly and Southern Cross Wildlife Care
Lodge Balgowlah No. 392 meeting on the 21st July was a special event for the recipients of donations of moneys raised at Bunnings Balgowlah Store and matched dollar-for-dollar by the Masonic charity MasoniCare.
The recipients were Sailability Manly who received a cheque for $3000.00 and Southern Cross Wildlife Care who also received a cheque for $3000.00.
During the evening our friend Benny played classical musical interlude adding solemnity to the event. The members of Lodge Balgowlah gave of their time to help run the community BBQ at Bunnings Balgowlah on many Saturdays and Sundays to raise money for local charities. Having raised the money we made an application to MasoniCare to match our efforts. Both organisations made presentations of what they do to make our area a better place for both people and wildlife.
Lodge Balgowlah thanks Bunnings Balgowlah for allowing them to participate in their local area community BBQ that they hold. We hope that we can continue this association.
